On the other hand, in Celaya, during the representation of the 'Last Supper' on Holy Thursday, a woman and a man were the target of an armed attack. The events occurred on Diego Rivera street in the San Miguel neighborhood, an iconic place for Holy Week celebrations. Two individuals on a motorcycle approached and fired at the crowd, resulting in the woman's death and leaving the man seriously injured and hospitalized. The State Attorney's Office has begun an investigation to clarify the crime and arrest those responsible.
Despite these violent events, the religious representations of Holy Week continued in Celaya, demonstrating the community's determination in the face of adversity.
